Our course is structured to optimize learning through real-life surgical practice, under direct supervision of implant masters.

Here is what the course will look like!

Sunday: Orientation and Preparation

Your Implant Marathon journey begins with an immersive orientation session where you’ll meet the faculty, understand the course structure, and get a detailed overview of the surgical cases scheduled for the week. This pre-course meeting is dedicated to reviewing foundational implantology concepts, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the core principles before moving on to the live procedures. A hands-on model workshop will take place in the evening to allow some practice before surgery the next day.

Clinical Days Monday-Friday: Intensive Hands-On Training

The heart of the Implant Marathon lies in these days, where you will be actively involved in patient treatment. You will have the opportunity to:
  • Perform a wide range of cases, under the watchful guidance of our expert instructors, plus you will assist your group member with their cases. This direct involvement helps cement your learning and builds surgical confidence. Overall, you will experience 60 implants between you and your group member!
  • Collaborate with Peers: Work alongside fellow dental professionals, share insights, and discuss case-specific challenges. This collaborative environment enhances learning and fosters professional networking.
  • Receive Immediate Feedback: Our seasoned faculty members provide one-on-one mentoring, ensuring that every step you take is supported by expert advice and constructive feedback.

Review, Debrief, and Future Planning

Each day of the Implant Marathon is also dedicated to debriefing and review. You will participate in comprehensive case discussions, where each surgical procedure is analyzed in detail. The faculty will highlight key learning points and provide tips for integrating these skills into your daily practice. This also offers a platform for you to ask questions, seek further clarification, and plan your next steps in advancing your implantology career.
